Musical family

Willem ’t Hart (1994) is a multidisciplinair artist, born in The Hague/holland in a musical family. His father Eli 't Hart studied the classical piano and his mother Trea Kuijsten the flute, both graduated at the conservatory of The Hague.

Earlier years

Education and first tour

At age 14 Willem followed his fathers footsteps and started playing the piano for the first time. His first teacher Govert van der Kolm guided him to the Conservatory of Utrecht in 2012, where he studied with Bert van den Brink playing jazz music. He started a band called Funky Organizers with his brother Bram ’t Hart. They toured around venues and festivals in Europe and supported for the Eart Wind and Fire experience, working with well known Dutch Saxofonist Hans Dulfer.

Development

Sound design, skills and improvising

In 2013 Willem started playing the Hammond organ at the conservatory of Rotterdam (Codarts) with teacher and personal coach Carlo de Wijs. Berthil Bustra and Ronald Kool trained him developing sounddesign skills and improvising.

Fashion model

Scouted by Max Models

One year later in 2014 Willem got scouted by Amsterdam based model agency Max Models. He worked with brands like Prada, Gucci, Dries van Nooten and Raf Simons. He did shoots for Vogue, Wallpaper, Dazed, GQ and the New York Times with names like Mario Testino, Willy van der Perre and Coco Capitån.

Career

Teacher, piano player and producer

In 2017 Willem successfully graduated cumlaude at the Conservatory of Rotterdam. Currently he is in service for Ableton live and works on his own music, which is a mix of everything (Hiphop, Neosoul and Jazz).
